The shadow of Beethoven loomed large over the Romantic movement. This recital of Romantic works is framed by two major Beethoven Sonatas, including the famous “Moonlight Sonata” Opus 27/2. Pianist Jan Jiracek von Armin enjoys an international concert career, while his students have won top prizes in international competitions across the world. He is currently guest professor at Elisabeth University in Hiroshima, Japan and visiting professor at Yale University in the USA.
