JOBURG BALLET presents DON QUIXOTE

Joburg Ballet is proud to present ballet superstars Marianela Nunez and Vadim Muntagirov of The Royal Ballet in the great 19th century ballet, Don Quixote. This scintillating classic tells the story of beautiful, audacious Kitri and her love for the dashing but poor Basilio. Her father, however, has more ambitious plans for his headstrong daughter, hoping to marry her off to a wealthy, foppish suitor. In the end love conquers all in a dazzling cascade of classical ballet. The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra will be in the orchestra pit to bring to life one of the most sparkling music scores ever created for ballet.
