Desert Rose, leading composers and performers of universal sacred world music makes their debut in Gauteng at Wits Theatre on 14 Nov. 2014. Since 2012 they have wowed audiences in the UK (London, Oxford), Europe (Warsaw, Poland) and Far East (Singapore, Penang, Malaysia and India).
The music of Desert Rose is epic, emotive and mystical. Evocative sounds of ancient Aramaic, Arabic, Xhosa and Sanskrit stirs deep memories within the listener. Epic orchestral sounds are punctuated with live African Harp, Mbira, African Bow and Talking Drum, creating a unique musical experience.
