The Importance of Being Tshepo is a South African adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by Makhaola Ndebele and written by Prof Anton Krueger.
Set in a contemporary South African context, this witty production explores identity, love, expectations and deception as Tshepo finds himself caught in a hilarious web of secrets and misunderstandings.
The Importance of Being Tshepo features Tapiwa Rudo Chokuda, Anele Penny, Sigqibo Kutase, Musa Tom, Marcia Ntoni, Kamogelo Mhlantla, Lonwabo Xatasi and Lerato Makuwa.
