The House Afrika Records Concert™ – 30 Year Celebration is a landmark live music event marking three decades of the record label that defined South Africa’s house music sound. The concert takes place on Saturday, 01 August 2026 at Bundu Inn Lodge in Akasia, Pretoria, from 12:00 till late. This is a strictly 18+ event.
Seven iconic House Afrika Records selectors will perform a curated, chronological back-to-back set on one stage, tracing the label’s 30-year catalogue from vinyl to digital. The entire concert will be professionally recorded live to produce the official
commemorative album Live from Ga-Rankuwa for global digital and physical release.
All patrons in attendance form part of the live album recording.
Production and show design are directed by Family Thing Entertainment. Technical production, stage, sound, and lighting are executed by Gearhouse Productions to international concert specifications, featuring a full 126dB front-of-house system engineered for acoustic clarity. Tshwane FM is the official media partner. Bundu Inn Lodge Pretoria is the official host venue.
Ticket categories: General Admission R150 (Early Bird), General Admission R200 (Standard), Golden Cycle R600, Gold VIP R600, Platinum VIP R1,500. VIP areas include premium hospitality, dedicated bars, and secure facilities. No tickets will be sold at the gate. Event capacity is strictly limited. E-hailing services are recommended due to limited parking.
