Hatfield Freshers

Hatfield Freshers by Homecoming Events represents the moment when a new generation enters culture. The Fresh Fruit Market theme turns that moment into a metaphor, fresh faces, fresh stories and fresh energy arriving in one place at once. Much like a real market, the event is loud, colourful, chaotic and alive, filled with different flavours, personalities and possibilities.

Every student walking into Hatfield Freshers becomes part of Pretoria’s cultural basket. It’s not about perfection, but vibrancy, positioning Hatfield Freshers as the first taste of independence, freedom and belonging for thousands of young people.

Age:
- No Under 18's, ID’s will be required upon entry

Prohibited Items:
- No firearms
- No illegal substances
- No liquids allowed into the event but non-cooked snacks and treats are welcome
- No camp chairs but picnic blankets are welcome
- No gazebos allowed
- No bad vibes are permitted in the space
- No hubbly gas stoves

By attending this event, you acknowledge and agree that HomeComing Events, its partners, affiliates, and sponsors have the right to photograph, film, and record you while on the event premises.
 
These images, videos, and recordings may be used for promotional, marketing, and documentation purposes across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertisements, and media publications, without any requirement for prior notification or additional compensation. Your attendance also grants the same rights to our partners and affiliates for their promotional use.

By entering the event, you release HomeComing Events, its partners, and affiliates from any claims or liability arising from the use of such materials. Your presence at the event serves as acknowledgment and agreement to these terms

Gate Times:

NO PASSOUT will be allowed, there will be no re-entry into the venue. If you leave the event, you won’t be allowed back in, so make sure you enter with all your  essentials!
 
Doors will close at 9PM and NO ENTRY will be allowed into the venue at all.

Liability:

By purchasing a ticket to and/or attending any Homecoming Events (including but not limited to Tshwanefontein, Friends Like Me, Sun City Takeover, Hatfield Freshers and all affiliated events), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Homecoming Events, its directors, employees, partners, sponsors and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, illness, death, theft or any other incident of any nature whatsoever that may occur during or as a result of attendance at the event, howsoever caused.

All attendees enter and participate in the event at their own risk.

Homecoming Events shall not be responsible for:
-Any personal injury or harm sustained on the premises
-Loss, theft or damage to personal belongings
-Any accidents or incidents occurring within or around the venue
-The actions or conduct of other attendees
Attendees are responsible for:
-Their own personal safety and wellbeing
-Acting responsibly and adhering to all event rules and venue regulations
-Ensuring they are physically fit to attend and participate in event activities

By attending the event, you consent to:
-Photography and videography being captured and used for marketing and promotional purposes
-Compliance with all security procedures, safety measures and staff instructions

Homecoming Events reserves the right to:
-Refuse entry or remove any attendee deemed to be acting in a dangerous, disruptive or unlawful manner
-Amend event details where necessary
