South Africa’s oldest and largest comedy festival, established in 1997 and still going strong. A showcase of top Cape Town and South African comics on stage with some of the world’s foremost variety acts. It’s a great corporate outing or charity fundraiser with generous discounts with group bookings.
Established as a celebration of free speech in a new democratic South Africa, The Jive Cape Town Funny Festival has stood the test of time. Now in its 27th year, The Festival is the largest comedy project in the country and showcases the artform of stand up comedy.
