It’s time to make some noise in the Joubert Pits at Killarney on Saturday 8 November, where the loudest vehicles in the Western Cape and a number of entries from further afield will compete for IASCA trophies and World Record status. Killarney’s biggest Multiplex event of the year also includes Drag Racing, Short Circuit, Rallycross and Regional Karting as well as the IASCA Sound Off – a fascinating look at the art of noise – all this on the same ticket!
And it’s a FAMILY FESTIVAL with kiddies’ play areas, ice-cold beverages and delicious food (including halaal).

If you’re into sound competitions, be there and be part of this awesome show; it’s a fascinating look at the art of noise and the engineering that it takes to produce a sound louder than a jet fighter taking off, out of a car stereo!
The best installations are surprisingly clean and tidy, with all the components easily accessible and cables neatly and safely routed, and it is notable that they also achieve the biggest numbers. Sound-Off contestants take their passion seriously, and it shows.
