VISITORS ADD TO THE EXCITEMENT AT KILLARNEY’S SEASON FINALE DRAG DAY!

The final round of the 2025 Killarney Drag Day series on Saturday 8 November will see champions crowned in both two and four-wheeled classes – for the first time in a decade!

It’s all to play for, time to “Haal uit en wys” with number of visiting competitors from Johannesburg, Durban and Gqeberha – as well as two from Namibia! – adding to the excitement as your favourite local drag racing heroes, and a dozen hotshot visitors, provide a full day of American-style Drag Racing with huge burnouts and high-adrenalin runs.
Killarney’s Drag Days are all about purpose built drag racers, lightweight bodies fitted with highly modified, insanely powerful engines and huge ultra-soft ‘wrinkly’ tyres.

But there are classes for everything, including superbikes and street cars, so you’re guaranteed a full day of straight-line action.

But wait, as they say, there’s more!

Killarney’s biggest Multiplex event of the year also includes Short Circuit Racing, Rallycross, Regional Karting and an IASCA Sound Off in the Joubert Pits – a fascinating look at the art of noise – and the engineering that it takes to produce a sound louder than a jet fighter taking off, out of a car stereo – all this on the same ticket!

And it’s a FAMILY FESTIVAL with kiddies’ play areas, ice-cold beverages and delicious food (including halaal).
