Join us for an evening of homegrown music Celebrating a Decade of Excellence of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program in partnership with the University of Cape Town. Experience the vibrant sounds of Dizu Plaatjies and Ibuyambo, joined by guest artist Thongo Tutsu and the talented students of the UCT Ibuyambo Orchestra.
Following a series of sold-out performances in 2024, this reimagined concert is directed by Mhlanguli George, co-directed by Bronwen Clacherty, Keketso Bolofo, Nomapostile Nyiki and Thabisa Dinga, with music by Dizu Plaatjies. The performance offers a rich tribute to Educating African Leaders, Cultural Heritage and South Africa’s dynamic musical landscape.
