With Lebogang Mashile’s permission, Tutu Puoane took a selection of poems from Mashile’s debut anthology: ‘In A Ribbon of Rhythm’, and composed new music around the poems, resulting in an original repertoire of her own
African intersection of jazz, singer-songwriter and a lot of soul.
