Seymour Krelbon a nerdish clumsy character works as a florist shop assistant. He happens upon a strange and interesting new plant, which, he discovers has a fancy for blood, when he cuts his finger. In this ridiculous and hilarious horror-spoof, the plant, which has a desire for world domination, grows by eating people with all the lead characters falling prey to its voracious appetite. There are laughs and funny moments a plenty with fabulous music by Alan Menken who is composer for many Disney musicals.
