Join the Friends for a guided tour of both historical landmarks on the Main Road in Muizenberg.
We commence at De Post Huys, built due to concern for the defence of the Cape following the outbreak of war between Holland, France and England in 1672.
We then visit Rhodes Cottage, which overlooks False Bay. Cecil John Rhodes bought it as a holiday cottage, and it is where he died of tuberculosis in 1902.
We end our tour at the Rhodes Cottage tearoom. Refreshments are for your own account.
