Artis Curiosa features the world-renowned international fusion belly dancer and teacher from Rome, Italy, Valenteena Ianni. Valenteena is well known for her stimulating and precise way of teaching and her emotional performances. Prepare to be mesmerized.
Artis Curiosa also features some of the most talented fusion belly dancers from across Southern Africa, including the show producer, Natalie Clark, who will perform with the Elysian Fusion Belly Dance Troupe from Dancing Divinity Dance Company; Bonita Rossouw, a fusion belly dancer that won the title of Miss Belly Dance South Africa in March 2023; Bhana van der Walt who is the epitome of belly dance art in South Africa; and the gorgeous and talented fusion belly dancers who will present Valenteena Ianni’s performance project, “Shadow Cursing”.
