Sculpting This Earth is a new documentary film by award-winning director Victor van Aswegen. It explores the timeless beauty of ephemeral artworks in nature over four seasons. Screened in collaboration with The International Public Art Festival, Sculpting This Earth follows the internationally acclaimed artist, Strijdom van der Merwe, over four consecutive seasons, as he travels to remote locations in the southern African interior, to make beautiful land art works in a striking range of natural settings.
