This contemporary dance work is a gentle and often intimate look at human relationships that journey back to their origin. It is a questioning and deconstruction of societal "truth" that often get in the way of love and tenderness. Imvelo deals with cultural, social, and political conflicts around connection, power, pain and truth. it is a work that displays the messy realities of human relationship and how one can often speak, but not listen. the choreographic choices would be to explore the value of actions over words.
