Incubator shows

The Incubator Program is a partnership between the Department of Arts and Culture and public entities, in this case, The South African State Theatre which has created a platform for young semi- professional artists to present their works at a professional level over the last four financial years (2015/2016 to 2018/2019). The financial support has assisted many young artists with short-term employments and empowered them through the mentorship programs that are part and parcel of the Incubator Program. Upskilling workshops have taught young creatives how to create revenue for their companies most of which are relatively new.
