THE SOUTH AFRICAN COMEDY AWARDS

The South African Comedy Awards (SACA) are making a comeback after a decade long hiatus. In light of the Covid-19 restrictions, SACA’s organisers did not want to be deterred from coming back with a bang, which influenced their decision for the awards to be broadcasted digitally.
It’s always been our mission to assist the industry migrate online because the comedians and the industry are likely to grow faster online than within the traditional space. It makes even more sense now during the pandemic to go online because of rules and regulations put in place to protect our comedy fans. The event will take place at Soweto Theatre to a limited crowd and then posted online on 15 December.
