At the start of National lockdown, The Soweto Theatre invited talented Poets to take part in an Online Open Mic Challenge. Each month while the country was at a stand still, poets from around the country participated & the poet who reached the highest number of likes/shares/comments and overall engagement automatically qualified for a slot to perform in a fully-fledged theatre in front of an audience at Soweto theatre after the National Lockdown.
