VUKA MACHEL

Vuka Machel is a two-hander “Revolutionary Comedy” production written and directed by the incomparable Mncedisi Shabangu who is a seasoned writer, Director and Actor in Theatre, Television and Movies. Vuka Machel seeks to tell the story of the great FRELIMO liberation Warrior and former President of Mozambique, Samora Moises Machel. It creatively grapples with the unsettling question: what would Samora Machel say if he were to wake up today and find Nelson Mandela married to Graca Machel. The real question that the production is probing is what would Samora Machel say if he found both Mozambique and South Africa in their current state?
