BIG BANGER COMEDY hosted by SKHUMBA

Skhumba Hlophe recently wrapped up his 5th One Man Special #TheAppointmentWithSkhumba and is now rounding off Comedians he’s had an opportunity to discover around the country, for his new edition of Big Banger Comedy hosted by Skhumba.

The Tour kicks off at The Nelson Mandela Theatre, Joburg Theatre with 1 show on 26 July 2025.

In the beginning of his career, Skhumba has had fellow comedians giving him a platform to showcase his craft and talent, he wants to do the same for some of crazy funny upcoming comedians along with a few established comedians. The show will be part of a whirlwind tour that will be going around the country.

Age restriction: No under 18's
Skhumba Hlophe will be the main attraction & host of the show and will also afford a newcomer an open spot on the nights. Skhumba feels that there are a lot of comedians that have great hunger and passion for Comedy and haven’t been afforded the opportunity to be given a great and proper platform. This tour aims to provide the Comedians with such a platform.

It is only fitting that 2025 leg kick starts at The Joburg Theatre . This show is not to be missed as it promises to be the best show yet!!!

Skhumba’s 2024-2025 career highlights


Skhumba is currently cohosting his radio show “Drive959” with Glen Lewis & Kgomotso Meso, on Kaya FM Monday to Friday from 15h00 to 18h00

He’s featured in the Netflix romantic comedy film Soweto Love Story, which debuted on Valentine’s Day 2024. He was also a panel judge on the The Masked Singer Season 2 which premiered on 6 April to 29 June 2024.
