Rock Steady is a 5 piece band who perform regularly around Cape Town.
They have performed at Ferryman`s in the V&A Waterfront since the band began in 2014 and also perform regularly at Cafe Roux, The Bay Sports Bar, Aces `n` Spades and other music venues in Cape Town.
Rock Steady prides themselves on the diversity of their song choices and although rock is their main genre, they are equally at home with blues, funk, pop, reggae, country and R&B. With three singers in the band, Rock Steady is easily able to perform a large variety of music, and besides being competent musicians, are also passionate about creating high energy performances.
Amy Jones, the very talented singer songwriter was born 4 March 1993 and raised in the town of Paarl. In association with Jirah Productions and Lee Willcock (manager since 2016), she crafted her look, music and image, culminating in the release of her debut single “Sunrise”, produced by Cape Town’s Colin Sher and releasing it nationally in October 2016, to critical acclaim from radio and her Fans. The single secured play-listings on a number of radio stations countrywide.

Androgenius is a 4-piece collective based in Cape Town, South Africa. Their style is best described as a blend of various jazz and contemporary genres including soul, swing, hip hop, rhythm and blues, funk, and rap.
The band started as a collaboration between frontman, Al Clapper, and bassist, Alex Mayers, who sought to write music that bridged the gap between Motown-era records, 90’s soul and R&B, and modern pop music. The aim was to perform music that makes the audience think and feel in equal parts—providing a product that was both relevant to today’s audience while paying tribute to influences from the past. The resulting sound has been aptly named “soul-hop”.

Freshlyground formed in early 2002, and is made up of musicians from South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Fronted by the dynamic Zolani Mahola, the band exudes a live performance energy that has been the bedrock of their success. In 2003 Freshlyground launched their debut album“Jika Jika” under their own Freeground Records label, cementing the band as one of South Africa’s most successful young acts.
