An evening of beautiful music featuring arias, duets and excerpts from operas by Mozart, Rossini, Bellini, Verdi, Puccini and Bizet. Music-lovers will welcome the chance to hear South Africa’s leading cultural luminaries, in aid of Opera Voices of South Africa Project, an initiative dedicated to the education, mentoring and inspiring the next generation of opera stars out of Africa.
Internationally acclaimed sopranos Goitsemang Lehobye and Nozuko Teto, mezzo-soprano Bongiwe Nakani, and tenors Sipho Fubesi and Owen Metsileng will give a joint concert, hosted by the multiple award-winning baritone, Njabulo Madlala and accompanied by maestro Kamal Khan.
