About

Dr. L. Subramaniam, India’s best-known violinist, has produced, performed, collaborated, conducted and released over 150 recordings.

He has composed music for films such as Salaam Bombay, Mississippi Masala, and Bernardo Bertolucci’s Little Buddha.

He has collaborated with Yehudi Menuhin, Stephane Grappelli, Jean Pierre Rampal, Ruggiero Ricci, Arve Tellefsen, Herbie Hancock, Joe Sample, George Duke, Al Jarreau, Jean Luc Ponty, Billy Cobham & John Surman, KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, amongst many others.

In the intimacy of the FRINGE THEATRE, the maestro will share his legendary music marking the finale of the Shared History Festival.
