The play focuses on how two young South Africans, in the 1950s were able to fall in love against incredible odds, how they stood up against society, and government laws, which were against their union.
It shows the power of love, the strength and resilience of youth, and complex nature of life in South Africa at that time.
It gives encouragement to young South Africans today, to follow their hearts beyond political boundaries, and to persevere against all odds.
It is truly a story of inspiration, love, and truth.
