Given to Fly

This drama production, set in the heart of the Cape Flats, tells the story of a “not so typical” Cape Flats family. 5 daughters who are “given to fly” with their father, Sidney, who is scarred by the hurts and disappointments of an oppressive past.

Brenda, the mother, and pillar of strength in the household provides the sanity which is much needed in a family, where their 5 daughters, each with their individual personalities are not afraid to speak their minds.
