Come and share in the joy of singing together as the choirs of six primary schools – Generations, Hermanus Primary, Mount Pleasant, Waldorf, Zwelihle, and Lukhanyo – take to the stage.
The programme will open with a teachers’ choir and the final item will be a choir comprising a few learners from each school choir.
Although not a competition, each school will receive feedback from adjudicators. Choirs will change throughout the morning and audience members are welcome to arrive or leave between items.

On the night of 29 November 1942, the British cargo liner the MV Dunedin Star was shipwrecked while making its way down the west coast of Africa with 106 souls on board. Against the odds the passengers managed to make it to the desolate shore, leaving most of the crew floundering on the fatally wounded ship.
What happened thereafter was drama on the highest scale as the South African authorities scrambled to reach this God-forsaken, inaccessible upper region of the Skeleton Coast. James Gray brings his story-telling skills to bear on this epic rescue mission.
