Maropeng is the official visitor centre of the Cradle of Humankind, a World Heritage Site that boasts some of the most world-renowned discoveries of our hominin ancestors. Situated just 45 minutes by car from Johannesburg, the site is also home to the Sterkfontein Caves and offers panoramic views of the surrounding Magaliesberg mountains.
