On the 15th of August 2024 from 6pm to 9pm at the iconic Johannesburg home of the ITOO ArtInsure headquarters, situated at the artful and vibrant Arcadia Villa, in Parktown, we will host the annual #ThatsWhatSheSaid Celebratory Dinner, honouring a fellow South African woman artist whose contribution to the South African Contemporary Art Landscape speaks volumes and represents extraordinary stories of our wonderful country. This year, we will celebrate artist, Mary Sibande. Mary Sibande is an artist based in Johannesburg and is known for introducing us to the character, Sophie. The dinner pays homage to Sibande's stellar artistic practice as well as her illustrious career.
Last year, as a company we had to pause with the celebrations and reflect on the year 2023 was and who we wanted to move forward with in 2024. 2023 was our breakout year after a decade in the creative and cultural industries and so many things happened and shifted for us. In this journey, we also want to acknowledge who has played a part in our growth and business. There are so many milestones and we can only be grateful.
