MusicEx is an experiential event designed to engage, excite & captivate music lovers by giving them the opportunity to browse products, attend educational sessions, enjoy live performances from major South African artists, and share their passion for music with others.

Exhibition – The journey into music creation & enjoyment. MusicEx will feature various exhibitors that speak to the different facets of music creation and enjoyment. A variety of instrument retailers, studio equipment and more.

Live music – MusicEx will feature an indoor live music experience that will excite music lovers across different genres. We are featuring homegrown South African talent in the different live music areas. Battle of the Best/ Buskers Corner/Music Lounge

Workshops – Learn from the experts at MusicEx with a series of talks and workshops on different aspects of music creation. The learning experiences will take place in the exhibition area in Hall 3.

The Marketplace – For vendors selling pre-loved items.

Battle of the best – Competition for local talent with substantial prizes. Be inspired, entertained, learn, get creative & network.

Festival Lane- Enjoy drinks & delicious food while listening to buskers.
