Lazarus Botsi is a South African Gospel artist whom hails from a small town in Brits town in the North-West Province.
Lazarus will be doing a live recording at the Rooderpoort Theatre under the theme Phakama Jesu on the 21st October 2023. This will be a Worship experience to which He will be Praising God with his famous song Modimo O Lerato, Wethembekile, Yahweh & Maotong A Jeso.
CHARACTER.
Lazarus, he performs songs in Setswana, isiZulu, Sesotho, Sepedi, English and isiXhosa,with his style of music, he resonates well with South Africans of all cultures and language, being the young right through to the old.
MUSIC STYLE
Lazarus is a unique individual with a great vocal talent from South Africa,with a combination of beautiful harmonies with joyful rhythms, He performs a traditional music fused with contemporary gospel music which is understood more from African sounds using a variety of musical instruments.

Pst Jabu Nkabinde, Putuma Tiso, Siphokazi, Kholeka Dubula, Kgotso Makgalema

He has done collaboration with Pst Jabu Nkabinde on his previous album – Modimo O Lerato (God Is Love)
NOMINATIONS & AWARDS
In 2016 his first album – Modimo O Lerato was nominated at the 3rd INGOMAS –
Independent Gospel Music Awards in the category of ALBUM OF THE YEAR. This just goes to show that Lazarus is fast becoming a well recognized brand in the Gospel Music Industry , It is clearly evident as more and more artists are reaching out to work with him.
