Pieter Toerien with Cape Town Opera, present the much-anticipated revival tour of The world’s most loved musical returns to South Africa this December!
Rodgers & Hammerstein’ classic musical, The Sound Of Music.

Opening at Cape Town’s Artscape Theatre in December of 2023, the production will then transfer to Johannesburg’s The Teatro, at Montecasino.

The Sound Of Music marks the 11th and final collaboration between legendary lyricists Rodgers & Hammerstein, and features a treasure trove of popular show tunes, including “My Favorite Things”, “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”, “Do Re Mi”, “Sixteen Going On Seventeen”, and many more.

2 hours 40 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
