Strike a Match

Strike a Match is Directed by Mdu Kweyama and choreographed and performed by Celeste Botha. This work explores beyond the “universal” contemporary aesthetic and digs deeper into my own female South African identity, energies and culture. It is a biographical work which generates an edgy, visceral, more personal and authentic movement performance with the ability to transform and empower women.
