The Umgeni Water Marathon takes place in March every year during National Water Week at Midmar Dam.

The race entry fee includes free entry into Midmar Dam resort and online entry charges.
Free T-shirts to ALL entrants in ALL events, medals to all finishers within the cut-off times.
All athletes must collect their own race packs either on Sat 18 March at Collegians Club, 381 Boshoff Street Pietermaritzburg between 14:00 and 17:00 or on Sun 19 March at Midmar Dam resort between 4am and 5:15am.
