Craig Lucas: The Worst Year Of My Life

Craig Lucas, in collaboration with SAMPRA and the SAMPRA DEVELOPMENT FUND is proud to present “THE WORST YEAR OF MY LIFE,” a celebration of life, loss and everything in between.

The concert is unlike anything Craig has done before, as it seeks to merge his original music, with the gospel and spiritual music that has brought him comfort during a tumultuous year of great triumphs and great loss.

The show will feature gospel classics such as “Alabaster Box” “Amazing Grace” and “His Eye Is on The Sparrow,” mashups of songs such as “Better” and “Oceans” and completely reimaged live versions of classics such as Smother and Purple rain.
Craig will be joined by powerful guest artists including Karen Kortje among others. Artists are accompanied by an incredible 4-piece band and… a powerful 9-PIECE CHURCH CHOIR featuring among the best backing vocalists in the country.

All are welcome at “THE WORST YEAR OF MY LIFE,” to reflect on the year past, sing and give praise, cry and mourn.
