Capital City Marathon 2023

Medals will be awarded to all finishers.

Race Start at Pietermaritzburg City Hall:
42,2km - 05:00
21,1km - 05:00
10km - 07:00

Race finish: Msunduzi Athletics Stadium.

Cutoff times:
42,2KM - 11:00am (6 hrs)
21,1KM - 08:30am (3,5 hrs)
10KM - 10:00am (3 hrs)

Marathon participants who have not passed the half marathon by 08:00 will not be allowed to continue but may complete the half marathon until the 3,5 hours’ time limit.
Participants who have not completed 21.1km by the 3,5hrs will be called off the road.

10am-6pm on Friday 24th Feb
9am-5pm Saturday 25th Feb
