Jive Culture Shock

Oddball Concepts in association with YMA Consulting, brings you a third season of the ever-popular cultural production, the Jive Culture Shock. Inaugurated as an online event in 2020 because of Covid19, this unique production introduced local and international audiences to the greater talents of the various Cape Minstrels & Malay Choirs.
The format this year will replace the competition element with a festive showcase of Minstrels, Malay Choirs and brass bands. Hosts; Rushney Furguson and Shadley Schroeder (playing the character Boeta Saatjie) will take you on a rather candid, tell-all journey that is and was the Jive Culture Shock since its inception- you will hear the story behind the story, so to say.

A percentage of each ticket sold will be donated to Fusion Inyameko Foundation and the Red Cross Children’s Trust, two organisations doing amazing work in our communities.
You can donate an additional R20 by selecting the Full Price (with R20 donation) ticket type.
10% discounts apply to senior citizens (age 60+/ ID number required upon ticket purchase) and block bookings of 10 or more.
