Miss & Mr Heritage Umlazi 2022

Umlazi Township being the biggest township in KwaZulu-Natal is rich in culture and heritage. The only township in South Africa to have its own unique Number plate, namely, “NUZ”.

The township is named after Umlaza River that was named by His Majesty King Shaka kaSenzangakhona.

So, it is befitting that Umlazi will host the 1st annual Miss & Mr Umlazi Heritage 2022.

The event will fuse African culture and Western Culture in celebrating heritage day. Umlazi Township has people of different backgrounds, we aim to showcase that through wardrobe that will represent different ethnic groups that you can find in uMlazi.
