The Good Soul of Szechuan

The Good Soul of Szechuan

About

The Good Soul of Szechuan by Bertolt Brecht, translated by David Harrower questions the possibility of moral goodness in the face of economic and personal hardship when 3 gods travel to Szechuan to determine whether there are any ‘good’ people left. Starring the 6th cohort on Magnet Theatre’s Training Programme, directed by Mark Fleishman and Qondiswa James, this dynamic play using physical imagery, choral work and singing, celebrates the skill and resilience of a new wave of young performers.

This amateur production of “The Good Soul of Szechuan (Harrower)” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
