Kucheza (to dance) is a homonymous Kiswahili verb that aligns and identifies with our vision as an institution - to be the prestigious theatre of choice for a distinctly Pan-African experience, THE THEATRE OF AFRICA! The new name marries our aspirations to serve the continents and the world’s dance communities with our call to Africa to converge as one and in its diversity.
