Ncamisa Nqana “A Bird With Melodies” SAST Fringe

Ncamisa is a 29-year old vocalist, backing vocalist, vocal coach, composer, actress and dancer from Mamelodi. She also calls herself “A bird With Melodies”. Ncamisa comes from a musical family. In 2006 she went through classical training until 2009, scooped awards at Pretoria and National Eisteddfod and Unisa Youth Festival Competitions. Her music is a fusion of jazz and African indigenous music. She writes about everything that is around her and her experiences. Her improvisation skills knows no boundaries.
