In this course Associate Professor Hedley Twidle explores questions of memory and time in literary and autobiographical works including J.M. Coetzee’s Boyhood, Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Between the World and Me and Franzen’s ‘My Father’s Brain’.

The course introduces influential theories of life writing. Course material (narrated PowerPoint presentations plus readings) will be available from 1 August to 31 August. You will be sent a link to the course website.
