Eric Abraham presents a brand new Fugard Theatre Production of KING KONG - The Original Iconic South African Musical!

KING KONG was a landmark South African musical which was first presented in South Africa in 1956. The musical portrays the life and times of a heavyweight boxer Ezekiel Dlamini, known as `King Kong` who lived in Soweto.

The original production played to over 250 000 South Africans before transferring to London`s West End.

King Kong launched the international career of Miriam Makeba, who played the shebeen queen of the Back of the Moon.
