Afrikaans music theatre production ‘Korreltjie Kantel’ – is a fusion of literature, theatre, music – and now, also art. Come and experience this beautiful production about love and longing – featuring works of art by renowned visual artists.

Korreltjie Kantel is inspired by the love affair and writings of Ingrid Jonker and Andre P Brink. Nick Turner, Luna Paige & Jamie Jupiter put music to Jonker’s poems and wrote original songs inspired by the love letters that transpired between these two iconic writers.

Actors Wessel Pretorius and Christine Truter play the role of these two lovers, who used words and literature to express their feelings for each other.
