The Freedom to Create Prize celebrates the courage and creativity of artists and the positive influence of their work to promote social justice and inspire the human spirit. Winners of the 2011 Freedom to Create Prize will be announced on 19 November, at a spectacular award ceremony and concert hosted by Leanne Manas, featuring special performances by The Gugulethu Tenors, Namibian artist Eric Sell a.k.a EES and Senegalese superstar Baaba Maal.
