THE REVELATION LIVE MUSIC, POETRY & DANCE

The Revelation is a Live Music, Poetry & Dance Performance. The show is performed by South African artists from different practices reflecting the lives of workers separated from their loved ones by the opportunity to pursue work and other economic interests. The initiates undergo a traditional rite of passage into pre-adulthood, they subsequently return from the wilderness as young men and women who are prepared to persevere through extreme hardship and embrace the complexities of love and sister/ brotherhood societal expectations.
