The Speech and Drama Academy proudly present its end-of-year production, a Disney-inspired showcase that brings beloved characters and timeless stories to life through song and dance. This vibrant celebration marks the culmination of a year of creativity, learning, and growth, as young performers take audiences on a magical journey through the worlds of Disney. From classic fairy tales to modern favourites, each performance reflects the students’ hard work and passion nurtured throughout the year.
The academy, under the facilitation of Reneilwe Mashitisho, has been running weekly classes at the Joburg Theatre since February 2025. With age groups ranging from 4 to 17, the programme focuses on building confidence, communication, and performance skills through structured yet engaging sessions. The end-of-year production serves as both a celebration of achievement and an opportunity for students to shine on stage, showcasing their talent, teamwork, and the joy of storytelling that has defined their journey throughout the year.
