Caiphus Semenya 80th birthday and NAAPA Benefit Concert

Legendary Musician, Ntate Caiphus Semenya, will celebrate his 80th birthday as an honouree of the Caiphus Semenya at 80 Music Extravaganza concert held at the Market Theatre, 24 August 2019.

Sello Maake Ka Ncube, Ringo Madlingozi, Brenda Sisane, Tim Modise and Don Materra are among celebrity attendees expected to perform and or deliver tributes at the fundraiser for the National Academy of Africa’s Performing Arts (NAAPA), a world-class, tertiary art school founded by Semenya.

Ntate Caiphus will be joined by celebrities, business and government leaders for the reception, donors, dinner at Gramadoelas and a concert at the John Kani Theatre .
