The Kuru Dance Festival is a 2 day event from August 24th - 25th, 2018 (the weekend of the full moon) at the Dqae Qare San Lodge, near Ghanzi, Botswana. This will be the 20th year the festival has taken place.
The festival features numerous San dance groups from Botswana and Namibia. The festival is a unique cultural experience to all those who attend, allowing us to share in the rich culture and beautiful traditional dances and music of the San People. This celebration of the San culture is catered both to locals and to a wider international audience.
Alcohol is NOT permitted at the festival. Attendees found with alcohol will be evicted without refunds.
