CION: Requiem of Ravel’s Boléro
An adaptation of Zakes Mda’s book which drew inspiration from the life of the interesting character Toloki, as we follow his journey. Directed and choreographed by Gregory Maqoma, who unpacks the events of the story through the roots of contemporary African Dance, with a flavoured essence of music from French composer Maurice Ravel’s Boléro.
